Ethan Lucas

Ethan Lucas is Project Director at FishWise, where he designs and leads sustainable seafood programs across the supply chain, integrating environmental sustainability, traceability, and social responsibility into sourcing practices.. He represents FishWise in key multi-stakeholder collaborations such as the NGO Tuna Forum and Sea Pact, working
closely with industry partners to advance responsible seafood practices.

Over the past 13 years, he has dedicated his career to improving sustainability in the seafood sector. He holds a B.S. in Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Washington. His background includes a Knauss Fellowship with NOAA Coral Reef Watch and service in the U.S. Peace Corps in the Philippines.
