Alesa Flores

Alesa Flores has a Master ́s degree in Marine Ecology. With over a decade of experience working alongside fishing communities in Mexico, she has been involved in various aspects, including stock assessments and driving social improvements in fishing communities.

She has coordinated several Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs) in the country, successfully handing over leadership to fishers and market stakeholders. In COBI, she coordinates the strategy for FIPs, marine reserves, and the implementation of solutions.
