Irene Kranendonk

Irene Kranendonk is the Head of Impact at Fish Tales (known as Sea Tales in North America) where she leads projects and partnerships focused on strengthening the environmental and social impact of their partner fisheries. Her work includes developing responsible procurement criteria, managing certification schemes, setting up local improvement projects and working on initiatives to accelerate industry change.

Irene holds a master’s degree in Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management from Wageningen University & Research and previously worked as a sustainable seafood assessor for the Dutch seafood rating guide the VISwijzer.
