Emilie is a Manager, Food and Agriculture at LRQA, specializing in social responsibility in the seafood sector. She works closely with stakeholders to develop and improve emerging methodologies and best practices for implementing Human Rights Due Diligence with industry partners. She leads several social risk assessment projects globally, working with local implementation teams to assess risks at the fishery or farm level.
She also plays a leading role in developing LRQA’s portfolio of seafood work in the social responsibility space, advising on strategy and partnerships to scale practical solutions for HRDD in the seafood industry. She holds a Master’s of Marine Management from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, Canada, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Economics from Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada.
