The Alliance staff team oversees the implementation of the Alliance strategy and facilitates collaboration between the Alliance Board and our members as we work together to achieve shared goals.

Chloé Compton
Alliance Coordinator
As Alliance Coordinator, Chloé supports collaboration and engagement across the Alliance’s global network of seafood sustainability leaders. She helps coordinate member programs, events, communications, and organizational operations that foster shared learning and collective action. Before joining CASS, Chloé worked in international fisheries conservation, where she supported science-based fisheries management through stakeholder engagement, communications, and policy advocacy initiatives. She holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Saint Louis University.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
As Executive Director, Meaghan leads the collective charge to identify and capitalize on the organization’s key strategic and organizational opportunities. Using a people-first approach, Meaghan leverages her expertise and tenure to facilitate collaborations and support the incubation of ideas and strategies across organizations. She brings two decades of relevant experience from both the non-profit and corporate sectors working across diverse stakeholders and initiatives. Meaghan holds a degree in Journalism from Indiana University.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR
Laura is excited about creating spaces that help people feel comfortable and confident, so they can let their best selves shine. As Director of Community Engagement at Conservation Alliance for Seafood Solutions, she works with a membership body of hundreds of passionate changemakers to keep them informed and connected so they can find the people and information they need to succeed. She’s done fieldwork with coastal communities in Cambodia, Costa Rica, and Madagascar, drove impact at WWF-Canada and Fair Trade USA, and holds a master’s degree in Marine Management from Dalhousie University.
