Our 2026 CASS Conference brought our annual member gathering to Halifax, Nova Scotia, for the first time in Canada. Over a week filled with local seafood, inspiring conversations, and plenty of laughs, our community came together to reflect on the lessons that have shaped the responsible seafood movement and explore how we can create greater impact together.

From a deep dive into accountability and transparency in the seafood sector to candid conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing our movement, the conference created space to learn from experience, challenge assumptions, and strengthen our approach to collaboration. We explored how we can work more intentionally, focus our efforts where they add the most value, and turn lessons learned into meaningful progress.

We also celebrated the members whose contributions continue to shape the movement, recognizing their leadership, innovation, and collaborative spirit.

Every year, our gathering reminds us that we are greater than the sum of our parts. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Halifax and helped make CASS Conference 2026 such a memorable opportunity to learn, connect, and move our shared vision forward.
