Jhana Young-Headshot-2025

From an early age, the ocean has been an inspiration for Jhana—from surfing to canoe paddling to fishing. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, she serves as the Sustainable Seafood Senior Manager at Conservation International’s Hawaiʻi Program. She has over a decade of experience leading efforts that support and strengthen local and responsible seafood initiatives.

She is a graduate of the University of Portland’s Pamplin School of Business in Marketing and Sustainability and is a 2024 Rachel’s Network Catalyst Awardee. When not working, she enjoys surfing, hunting, fishing, and cooking all kinds of invasive species—whether it be wild pigs and axis deer, or taʻape.
