Francisco Vergara

Francisco Vergara joined the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) in August 2020 as fisheries Outreach Manager for Mexico and Central America. Francisco is a marine biologist, studied a master’s degree in marine resource management and obtained his PhD in Fisheries and Aquaculture Bioeconomics in 2018. Before joining the MSC, he worked as a consultant on several projects related to fisheries and aquaculture for NGOs, Mexican and international organizations such as FAO and OECD.
