Chelsea Scantlan

Chelsea serves as Senior Manager II on the Sustainability Team for Walmart.org. This team leads philanthropic sustainability investments for Walmart and the Walmart Foundation. The team is focused on enhancing sustainability of supply chains through a shared value approach and complimenting with philanthropy. The team’s work includes worker livelihoods, responsible recruitment, regenerative approaches to forests, agriculture, and fisheries management, and just transitions.

Chelsea sits within the natural capital sub-team, which is focused on preserving natural capital (Forests, land/water, oceans), especially in irreplaceable landscapes by aligning market signals, policy, community voice, data and supply chain practices. Chelsea leads work to advance research and the marketplace to accelerate circular economies, with a specific focus on plastics and textiles. She is also focused on sustainable fishing from key sourcing regions, as well as restoration and protection of vulnerable ocean biomes and species.
