The Alliance Global Hub is a community of collaborative changemakers excited about seeing ocean ecosystems and those who depend on them thrive. The Alliance connects the Global Hub with the resources and support needed to make more progress.

Who can join the Global Hub?

The Global Hub is open to any organization, group, business, academic, or individual expert that aligns with the Alliance’s Vision for Seafood: a world with an abundance of seafood where workers, communities, and our ocean all thrive. 

What are the benefits of being a member?

Direct access to the Alliance Global Hub community via our internal communications platform and events.

Opportunity to drive movement-level progress by participating in Alliance Networks and Working Groups.

Be the first to learn about your Global Hub colleagues’ work, challenges, and opportunities to collaborate.

Invitations to exclusive, Global Hub Member-only virtual and in-person events, including the Alliance Conference.

Promotion of your initiatives with the Responsible Seafood Movement via Alliance communications channels.

Year-round communication from the Alliance team helping you stay informed of emerging issues and opportunities.

What do members do?

Global Hub Members are expected to:

  • Actively contribute to and engage in the Alliance’s learning community;
  • Participate in discussions regarding movement trends, opportunities, and challenges;
  • Cover any expenses related to participation in the Alliance, including travel, time, and conference registration fees; and
  • Provide input and advice when requested.

Additionally, Global Hub Members are encouraged to:

  • Participate in Alliance Networks or Working Groups; and
  • Openly share information about their organization’s work and priorities; and 

Is there a membership fee?

No, there is currently no cost to participate in the Global Hub. Instead, we ask for in-kind contributions of ideas and efforts. We also have sponsorship opportunities available.
