Gabrielle Lout

Gabrielle Lout is the Social Responsibility Program Manager at Ocean Outcomes and leads their initiatives focused on human rights and labor. She is currently advancing human rights due diligence with partners through direct engagement with migrant workers onboard vessels, identifying risks to workers and supporting implementation of improvements. Prior to joining O2, Gabby founded an independent consultancy, Salience, and worked with organizations such as Conservation International and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. She is an expert and thought leader on many of the current approaches and tools being adopted to address human rights and labor conditions in the seafood sector, and continues to promote increased worker engagement through innovative pilots and projects with her team and partners.
