Ilmar Josué Canul Reyes

Josué has been fishing since he was 10 years old, and has worked in the blackfish, boquinete, lobster, and octopus fisheries, all according to the closed season. He currently belongs to the Fishing Production Cooperative Society of the Celestún Fishing Refuge, and is also the president of the Management Committee of the Celestún Fishing Refuge Zone. For him, it is important to highlight that fishermen are now dedicated to more responsible and sustainable fishing.
