Ricardo Novelo

Ricardo Novelo is a ,ember of the leading organization of the fishery improvement project “Alianza por el pulpo Yucatán A.C.” He is a second-generation fisherman from Celestún, Yucatán. Ricardo is founder of the Fairtrade-certified fishing cooperative “Cayo Arenas” and representative of the Federation of Fishing, Aquaculture and Tourism Services Cooperatives of Celestún, an organization that includes 65 cooperatives in the region.
