Román Antonio Can Pereda

Román belongs to the Fishermen’s Cooperative Society of Fishing Production, United Fishermen of San Felipe, and began fishing at the age of 15. He was president of his cooperative during the period 2016-2018, and has worked in the lobster, scale, octopus, cucumber and shark fisheries. All species are caught in a timely manner as determined by the permits for each season. The sea is no longer a source of inexhaustible resources; the time has come to give back all that it has given us.
