The Alliance Vision for Responsible Seafood

The Alliance’s next project, the development of the Vision for Responsible Seafood, has begun! The Vision will serve as the foundation of future Alliance work, identify the UN Sustainable Development Goals influenced by seafood production, and align our movement with other global efforts through a common lexicon and goals. This meeting is your opportunity to learn about the Vision before the official Global Feedback review period.
Ryan Bigelow
Project Director, Conservation Alliance for Seafood Solutions
As Project Director, Ryan leads the Alliance’s multi-stakeholder work focused on creating solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing the responsible seafood movement. Ryan spent ten years with the Monterey Bay Aquarium where he managed the Seafood Watch program, leading communications, NGO engagement, and online strategies. Before joining our movement, Ryan lived in Japan, translating and interpreting for the Japanese government. Ryan has a BA in Japanese Studies and an MA in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
