Stay tuned for more information about the 2026 CASS member gathering, held in Canada for the first time.

Thank you to everyone who made our 2025 gathering our favorite one yet!

Every year, our annual member gathering re-energizes us and reminds us why we do this work together instead of separately. The 15th anniversary event, last month in Waikoloa, Hawaii, was no exception.
We spent the week reflecting on our shared history and all the people and ideas that carried us here, and looking toward our shared future and those who will lead the way. We were reminded that insurmountable challenges become easier when you have a community to tackle them with, and that we should focus on the 90% that we agree on, not the 10% we disagree on. Relationships are the fundamental unit of success in this movement; our relationships with each other are our strength and superpower.
This work is hard, and we need help. As we look ahead, we know we need to think and partner more broadly and hollistically, beyond just seafood, and we need to keep bringing all of you together to lead the conversations that will get us there. It is a privilege to figure it all out in community with you.
Thank you to our sponsors for their generous support of our 15th anniversary event!
