Casey graduated from the University of Florida in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in food science. Prior to joining Beaver Street, he worked with Darden Restaurants from 2002-06 where he started his career as a Seafood Specialist inspecting seafood for their restaurant chains across North America. Since then, he has worked in the seafood industry for over 20 years with an extensive background in FSQA, Seafood HACCP and regulatory compliance, and over the years has inherently gravitated towards the many facets seafood sustainability encompasses.
