Rolando Ibarra

Veterinary with 20 years of experience in aquaculture. He is a senior fellow on aquaculture sustainability in the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch in the United States. Previously and for the last ten years, he has been Head of the Fish Health and Food Safety area at the national association of salmon farmers in Chile, coordinating and leading multidisciplinary work teams in the sanitary, productive, and food safety areas. He coordinates initiatives related to reducing chemical use in aquaculture worldwide with the public, governments, and science sectors.
